Store Policies
Armor Sales
For armor purchases, we require a copy of the purchaser's driver license and a copy of at least one of the following: 1) LE/MIL i.d. and/or 2) government-issued CCW permit. If number 1 or 2 is not available, we require a signed statement indicating the purchaser is not a felon and knows of no reason why he/she is prohibited from owning or purchasing body armor.

This information can be scanned/emailed (preferred method) to the company president at timw@practicaltactical.net or faxed to (602) 476-1344. If faxed, please ensure the setting is such that it faxes through light enough to be legible. We will advise if the fax needs to be resent. You can also mail the copies of the documents to

No armor will be shipped until this information is on file.
NO EXCEPTIONS. NO armor is available for export or shipment to APO/FPO addresses. Finally, there are NO RETURNS on armor products (ballistic panels and armor plates), as we do not know how the item was stored or used after we ship it. There are NO exceptions to this policy, so be sure of what you are buying before you buy it.


Clearance/Sale Items
Items in the Clearance/Sale category are items we have reduced in price in order to move them out. These are items we no longer plan to carry in the future. Therefore, there are NO RETURNS on these items unless there is a manufacturing defect. Quantities of these items can be very limited, and once we're out, we're out. If you have any questions, please contact us before ordering.


Returns
We accept returns as long as the item is in as-new condition, with all tags/packaging still attached, for up to 30 days from date of shipment. Refunds are for the original amount, less any shipping charges. For example, you order something that costs $50.00, and shipping was $5.95, making your total $55.95. If you returned the item, the amount credited to you will be $50.00, not $55.95. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. We recommend insuring your return package for the original purchase amount, and using some sort of delivery-confirmation service. We are not responsible for packages lost during return transit.

Gear that has been used, is dirty, etc., will not be accepted for returns. Custom-ordered gear, such as belts in special sizes or other items not normally stocked, are not returnable. As noted above, armor products (such as ballistic panels and armor plates) are non-returnable. If there is a manufacturing defect, we will work with you and the manufacturer to help make it right.

For hygiene reasons, hydration reservoirs, Camelbak bottles, etc., are not returnable. If you return a Camelbak or other hydration product, it must have the original plastic seal around the reservoir drink tube/bite valve intact, in its original condition. If you return a reservoir or bottle that has had this packaging removed, any refund or credit will be reduced by the retail cost of a replacement reservoir. No exceptions...we will not sell any hydration reservoir that has been, or could have been, used by someone else. I am sure you wouldn't want to buy a Camelbak that may have been used, so we won't sell one.

Warranty - Items are covered under the warranty from the manufacturer, which in some cases is a lifetime warranty with certain conditions. If in doubt, ask.


Pricing
We attempt to be as accurate as possible in the pricing we list here on the website. However mistakes can happen in the data-entry for the catalog. Should this occur, we reserve the right to update the pricing of your order accordingly. However, we will notify you of the mistake before we ship anything, and you will have the opportunity to cancel or modify your order, as you see fit.


Shipping
We use either US Postal Priority Mail or UPS Ground for most shipments. Shipments to APO/FPO addresses are ONLY available via USPS Priority Mail. No UPS/FedEx or other 'expedited' shipping methods can be used for APO/FPO addresses. Shipping is charged for all domestic and international orders. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Expedited shipping is available at extra cost (except APO/FPO addresses). Obviously, expedited shipping is available only on items we actually have in stock. Next Day, Two-Day and Three-Day shipping times start from the date the items SHIP, not the date of your order, and do not include weekends. Thus, an item shipped via Second Day on a Thursday will arrive on Monday, since the "clock" starts on Friday, skips Saturday and Sunday, with Monday being the Second Day. If you have any questions about this, contact us before placing your order.

Shipping rates shown via the online ordering system have occasionally been incorrect, especially when expedited shipping is chosen. We will contact you if there are any discrepancies and advise you of the correct shipping amount.


Item Availability
We strive to have most items in stock. However, there will be occasions when we are out of an ordered item. We will do our best to advise you of these situations and you will have the option of backordering or cancelling your order. With the exception of special orders, we do not charge credit cards until we have the item(s) ready to ship.


International Orders

We accept most international orders. However, some items are unavailable for international shipping either due to manufacturer agreements or U.S. government policy.

We no longer accept PayPal for any orders. Thus, we prefer payment via direct wire transfer. Due to a serious increase in credit-card fraud, International orders paying via credit card are accepted on a case-by-case basis, and the decision to fulfill the order is entirely at our discretion. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ORDERS FROM NIGERIA, IRAN, NORTH KOREA, MALAYSIA OR INDONESIA.

All international orders are F.O.B. Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, customs, duties, taxes, etc., in their country, and are responsible for ensuring that the product(s) they order are legal in their country. We are not responsible for any items confiscated by your government, customs or other agencies.

International Shipping is via US Postal Global Express Mail (GEMS). UPS/FedEx may be available, but is usually twice the cost of GEMS. While we do everything we can to ensure prompt delivery, we will not be held responsible for foreign postal or delivery services outside of our control.
